Ah... I have gotten the same results as everyone else around here!
A couple of weeks ago I tried the combination of Red ZZ Motor/Gear/Axle on my MS and it wasn't as fast as my ZZ with the same drivetrain, so I went back to stock on the MS. I will be getting a 2.2 and a 2.6 motor soon, as well as 3 new bits, and I will try some different combos on them :c)
Maybe I should order a 3.0, 3.2, and a 3.8 and do some major comparisons?

you can always make your front wheels black and put some other hub cap in the front. That's what i did to my MS. I'll be putting some ZZ wheels in the front soon, so then i don't have to worry about different wheel designs. I also noticed that after about 1 minute of running with the red ZZ motor it seams to wear out it's quickness. Well atleast it is better than the 2.2 motor.
here's a pic of my car

i tried the zip front wheels on my zip but it didnt worktoo well, by the time i had modded the chassis enough so the tires didnt rub i had taken apart the front end so many times it didnt steer right, so i just transferred the pcb into the zip, and away i went!! PICS OF MY GARAGE COMING SOON!!

a good way to prevent rubbing when using ZZ wheels in the front is to use the Bit knuckles instead. That will make enough room for clearence.

Orange Gears seam to go slower for me than the red ZZ gears. Not sure why...

Thanks!

Dok, the orange ms gears are the "middle" set, same as the green zz gears, the red gears are the high speed set, thats why the orange seems slower. BTW, what part of West V. are you from? I am from Huntington but live in Mississippi now.

I am running Zips and Bits. Motors that make Zips move make Bits scream. Zips weigh more.

not to mention that the Bit PCB is pumping more energy to the motor giving it more power...
