Are you sure he was racing?
I like to look at big honki'n pick-ups with evil eyes as well. There are enough of them in Indy. Then I let them roar off of the line. I keep up but do not pass (though I could). We call them fuzz busters.
Oh, and the huge wings that these import "rice burners" run, only create drag. These cars don't go fast enough on city streets or country roads to make any kind of usable downforce.
I don't believe in Street racing. If you have what you project though your car's looks, then bring it to the track. Don't endanger the general public. It's common sense.

he was racing and i was not in a little pick up, i am talking eighteen as in a rig and yeah he was trying lots of people have tried,
and you said the wins cause down force. so if your car is front wheel drive why would you want to push the back end down thats not going to give you any traction it would make you loose traction. and i have taken my rig to a track in little river texas. i ran high 15s
any this site is for toys lets get back to modding our little ricers though i amn trying to make mine look domestic deep down its still a ricer

Not to get too far off subject but you mean 11's as in 1/8 mile right?

Not what I Said
I said the Huge wings create "drag". As in lack of aerodynamics. In other words, slowing the car down. My point was all of that body cladding doesn't mean sh!t. If you don't mod your engine what's the point. I was agreeing with you, to a point.
I'm sure you have the fastest vehicle in the world and I'm sorry to offend you.
However, if you ever want to race Bits/Micros/Zip-Zaps let me know.
Your goin' down go_zz_go.

To Speed D first things first!!! You need to go speek with Kenny Brown and tell him Stangs are for straight runs and suck in the twisties!!! LOL If front wheel drive was so get for twisties why don't race switch to front drive PLEEEAAASEEE!!!!
Second is there any racing (Micro) in Indy???? I am north of Indy and would love to race somewhere besides home.
Later
TEAM NITRO
I must add to stang owners I have a set of DART II heads forsale for sbf they are the same as Roush's new head 1.94 int 1.60 exh.
I am selling these to go to Aluminum I am cranking up the boost to 15 psi and Iron heads hold to much heat for this kind off boost!!! PRICE asking $650 few other parts for 5.0 stangs forsale!!!!

Yo TEAM_NITRO.
That's like saying "tell Boris Said that Mustangs suck". Who, by the way, won the 100th win for Ford(mustangs) in the Trans-Am series this past week. I didn't say that. I am just telling you what the numbers PROVED at the track. Like it or not that is the truth.
Perhaps we should have a drink and talk about it.
Anyway, if you want to race Micros or Zips, let me know. I am in Carmel (yeah, I know, don't get the wrong idea) and would love to find someone else to race against or with.
Nothing against "Stangs". But don't "dis" the imports on pure prejudice.
I own an older import than any Ford I have seen that hasn't been restored. It runs great.
But I would love to have a new ZX3!

If I was in Indy I wouldn't mind racing one of my Bits against yours, but alas I am in NC
Now if only there was a Mustang Bit body to sit next to my Castrol Supra boosted bit . Of course if there where a Mustang bit body, I would have mine mounted on a booster chassis with the same hoppups as my Supra!

Hey R.C. Dealer
If you are ever in INDY, let me know. I am dying to race someone else who is "skilled" in the ways of Micros/zips. Not that I am saying that I will win, but it would be nice to know someone else who shares my addiction.
That goes for anyone else. I feel like I am alone here.
I have posted a thread and no one answered.

Hey Henry!
After reading it a few times I understood it. I am not used to the abbreviations but I am learning.
Don't mind me. I spend too much time entering code and not enough time on the web.
I see the same thing around here. Kids with Mustangs or Camaros making them look like "rice burners". I use that term affectionately, because I like their style. But I don't think that it looks right on America muscle cars. I think muscle cars should have a lot of chrome and a nice, clean, paint job. Possibly racing stripes.
Just my opinion.
