Question About Batteries From GFM...
If I put the NiMH 120mah cell (the ones for $3 from QFM) into my bit will it still use the stock charger on the controller? Or do I have to make or modify the charger?
Also, what are the benefits AND drawbacks of using this battery in a bit. Thanks

the charger will still work fine because the voltage is the same. the mah differance corresponds to the amount charge the battery can hold. i believe the only differcnce youll see is a minute or so more of runtime

A fully charged 120mah cell will give you 20+ minutes of runtime.

Yes.
45 sec (1x charge) = 50mah (stock config)
so
135 sec (3x charge) = 150mah
FYI: Many people find that the 45sec stock charge doesnt "peak" (fully charge) the cell anyway, so they dbl. charge the stock batteries too. IF you are interested, there is a mod a QFM Racing (QuestForMadness.com) for extending your charge timer to 90 seconds.

Team Nitro....
Hehe. Youre right! I never noticed that before. The dual cell configuration and wiring is correct, but I incorrectly labeled the chassis terminals. I guess nobody mentioned it before, because the terminal markings really dont have any bearing on the mod, and if you followed the mod, and wiring positioning in the diagram, it would still work, because you dont actually modify the terminals itself.
Thanks for the sharp eye and the heads up! Ill get it fixed.

I was trying the mod and was having connection problems. So I took a good look and was I thinking the problem was terminal connection. Well needless to I say got out the soldering iron and did it again bingo!!!!!

Heres my 2.4v team. Both dual cell 120mah, 3.8's, 8.25:1 gearing, spring suspension, solid copper core antennas, but stock PCB's for both. The Zip is lowered.
