When in doubt... VACUUM MORE! Honestly, I don't put my cars on the track unless I have vacuumed in the last day. If you get a nice little shop vac it only takes a couple minutes.

Just vaccuum the living daylights out of the track. Use a vaccuum like a shop vac. Anything with a beater bar will dig a hole if you stop even for a second if you aren't careful. If you are going to put anything on the track just mist it with water then let it set for a short while then vaccuum it. If the humidity in your apartment is 50-60% you will probably be OK. Drier than that and you wil probably have to mist it once in a while.

we clean the track daily just sweeping (the platform is high so there isn't a floor problem) and the staff cleans with warm soapy water once a week. dust is completely unavoidable, we just work to minimize it which is effective.

I don't even think dust is avoidable in a "clean-room" laboratory! LOL!
Dust isn't too bad for Mini-Z's, but I'm sure it's more like bigger dirt for the Dnano's.

FYI, a bristle brush attachment is the bomb! I stole the one from my home vac and duct taped it to my baby shop vac. Lemme see if I can find pics.
Here is the newer version of the baby shop vac I bought for R/C. I take it to the track to clean my offroad cars too. Nice and cheap at $40 too!
I can't find a pic of mine but one of these do the trick nicely. You can quickly pick up all dust all the way to the edges of RCP track and in the corners.

Well, today after i vacuumed my track (i'm an expert on vacuum now, just don't tell my wife) i've run 3 more packs.
I've added the high density foam in the rearend, like someone already said. I saw a huge difference in the handling of the car. It improved a lot. That chattering in the end almost disappear and i can make the turns with more speed now (it's clearly notice when you turn without hitting the "gas").
Maybe the same effect can be achive by using the medium or hard T-plate.
Thanks

Hi,
Today i received my Aluma-Tech wheels. They look really great! But i don't think they will delivery the extra weight that i need for the rear.
When i get home i'll try with the PN racing tires (45F-15R)
Thanks

Ok,
Here are some photos of my PN tires with tle aluma rims. The great advantage of the PN tires toward the stock ones is that they have a bigger "footprint" using all the space available in the rims.
45F 15R for my RCP track. Don't know if it's the best but it's working for now.
Thanks

Well, today i've tested the Kyosho diff ball like Fraz said in here. To experiment other options i used the 10.000 diff oil like Q'on said in the nanotrax forum.
Sanded the rings with 1200 sandpaper, lube it with 20wt shock oil and...OMG, this thing fly over the RCP track. It's true that i had also changed my 6t broken pinion but the diference btw the stock diff and this one is amaizing.
Then i tried with 10.000 diff oil. It's ticker, perhaps the motor don't like it so much but i think my car had better velocity with it. Perhaps the first battery wasn't so charged as this one, but when ir reach the final strait the car was literaly flying over the RCP track.
One big problem - dirt. If with the stock diff there were always problems with the dirt and so on, now with ball diff the problem, at least for me, was exponencial. Any tiny hair is a big problem for the dnano's diff.
Other problem that i had, before the kyosho ball diff installed, was the 6t pinion. Only last 12 to 15 packs. The gear mesh was normal, as indicated in the manual. Don't know if it was the crashes, the constant braking or whatever. Thank god i have another Porsche 911 GT3 for pieces...
Thanks Fraz and Q'on for your help.
Nuno

Btw, i've got a brand new Starter Pack for sale. I've bought 2 dnanos and 2 starter packs, thinking that my sons would like to play with me. They don't. I will keep the white Porsche 911 GT3 but sell the new Starter Pack. 80USD and free shipping to the US. Paypal or wire transfer only.
Sorry for the off-the-record post.

They're 4 and 5. The older plays a little with my Porsche, but normally prefers the Nintendo...since he was born that he plays with rc car with me...it's just a matter of patience, i suppose...
I've been playing with the setup this saturday. I'll post my conclusions...
Thanks

mine are 5 and 9. both have been using rc's since maybe 2. thier interest comes and goes in spurts. for the most part, it can't compete with wii or online gaming though.
