We are getting more dNaNo cars as we speak in Hong Kong. We just got the Countach and the R8 complete sets yesterday. But the biggest problem is parts as we get nothing. 4 of my friends broke their servo gears or tie rod and there's no stock. All the tires are gone too not to mention ball diff, gyro and X motor. Demand for parts in Hong Kong is super high but there is just no supply. Hey NanoTrax you think I can order from you?

I'm in school during the week, so I can't go anywhere during lunch. We'll meet up sometime I'm sure.
A couple of your friends stripped their servo gears as well? They seem kind of fragile to me. I've stripped one set, replaced them, and think I might've stripped another set.
About the ball diffs; there is about a 10 person line of people including myself waiting for ball diffs at the dnano shop in mongkok, you might wanna get in line if you're not already!

i installed the ball diff on both of my models (porsche 911 gt3/mazda 787b no55) & i think it makes a slight but notable difference in performance on corners. let's hope the news that i just got 5 mins ago isn't too good 2 be true *crosses fingers*

In total I have stripped 3 sets of servos and broke 2 tie rods already on my 2 cars (787 and Enzo). I really hope someone will come up with stronger metal parts.
In the last Hong Kong shipment I reserved and bought 10 ball diffs but that's still not enough as my group of dNaNo cars have grown to 16 now...
Just wish the Japanese would make the parts quicker!

That's good to hear. I've got one on order and hope to get it soon. I was talking to someone the other day about the ball diffs, and he said to experiment with different combinations of supplied springs and different lubricants. He mention different lubricants really changed the behavior of the diff. I'm sure you knew that, just thought I'd mention it.

This is just hearsay, but I've read that PN Racing is prototyoing parts for the dnano as we speak. Just something to hope for.

Actually this is a strange issue. Out of my friends' 15 dnano's we notice only the Enzo's have the tendency to strip the servo gears. All other cars are ok so we are suspecting that the front of the Enzo body doesn't provide the protection to the front wheels. So once you hit the wall with an Enzo, the impact goes to the front wheels hence stripping the servo gears...
That's our best guestimation....

yeah that is strange how france/uk stock them but usa dont, its usually the other way around with rc stuff, but even still uk following for nano is very slow, as the rest of europe is , as far as i can tell, looks like i'll have to wait till you guys across the pond get them in stock for more mods and general banter on the forums, i must have read every thread on here 2 times lol,

Can you give me your source/link for getting the lap timing equipment from China, as I can find no source in Canada (or USA). Thanks, Lorne

fraz, not sure if it would work for your track, but I have this tape that I found, similar to "caution" tape etc. but w/ the red/white alternating - perfect for stuff like this. Also, checked out your site - liked the tiny computing links - email me if you're still into that stuff, want to run something by you. Thanks!

Tinyrc ...Well, I've been out of the sport for three years, having been very ill. (got a bad heart)
The Toronto School Board has now hired me to look into another racing program, the Dnano seems everything the other 1/43 scale were not, and in many ways are even better than the Z, with respect to space requirements and lap timing.
The cost and Kyosho's complete misunderstanding of the NA market are somewhat a turnoff. I don't understand the price point in this economy.
Anyway, I need to get a few cars an try them on this:
