New to Combat Q

Hi all, i've got a small collection of digiQ tanks slowly building up, and have a few questions. Anyone know where to get replacement batteries for the tanks, as i've seen some of epoxy's links to pictures, and i just want to have a few back up incase.

Also epoxy i noticed you mentioned a custom built sound system via computer, do you have a link to it?

These tanks are sweeeeeet, i really want the sound tower, and the rotating models though!

Smile new to Q

the soundprogram is very cool in my opinion.
the thread about digiQ sound from the PC is here.

http://549.rapidforum.com/topic=1024...nd%2Caus%2Cdem
download and install the program Version 085 mit VB-Library
6,7 MB

the real trick is making/finding the right receiver for your PC.
if you (still) have a comport it's easy,
i never tried the usb version myself.

you can make a receiver yourself, buy one ready made, or maybe i could arrange one for you.

it will be far cheaper then a konami soundsystem.
they are very hard to get, specially with combatdigiQ soundcards.

as for the batteries, i don't know at the moment.
single 1/4 AAA cell's are more available/cheaper than ready made cellpack's
like the VS replacements.
but it's more work to put it all together.

rody mentioned he ordered some in the nice pix thread, maybe he can tell you more about were you can buy some.

Yeah, I ordered my batteries from batterieswholesale.com about a week ago, but they're in Australia, and I haven't received them yet probably due to customs or something. I'll keep you updated. If I get them and they're satisfactory I may order a few 1/3 aaa from them, as I just received a bunch of z-cars with bad batteries, so I need some of this. As of now, I'm still looking for a supplier in the US.

Thanks for the reply guys. How are the batterieswholesale batteries like? I'd really like some KAN cells, but i bet they are harder to find, and obviously mor expensive.

Yeah epoxy the konami sound system is hard to get, but i don't mind making my own. I really wish those german guys would speak english for us once in a while, their forums are full of info, but babel fish really makes it hard to read through.

I've got a total of 4 tanks, and i'm thinking of selling 2 of them, but i don't want to let go of them. I need the money, but selling R/C is always the hardest way to make money lol.

DigiQ Batteries

Hey guys.

Mind if I chime in here? You can buy replacement batteries from Toyeast.

Look under VsTank*R: Parts and you'll see the replacement batteries. You'll only need to clip off the connector and then solder it in. I looked into that place in Australia, but after the shipping and then having to assemble them myself, I didn't think it would be worth it. If you're good with making battery packs, then I would recommend the batterieswholesale website. Their 1/3AAA cells are supposed to be designed to hold a charge longer and run longer.

Thanks!
