motors

i want a fast motor for my titan but i need it to run off stock fets.
i want 1 tht is fast but also has tons of torque

i thought you get one or the other.... torque or speed... iono maybe if you found a strong enough motor it'd give you lots of both for an xmod... just a random questioning i guess...

A high torque motor is usually slower on the top end. The way people get lots of torque from high speed motors is by using neo magnets and lots of power with upgraded electronics.

For a given power, typically you can't get one without trading off on the other. Getting a motor with ball bearings will free up some of the power... It's all about balance.

I believe I have used the tamiya plasma dash motor (I think that's what it was) with good success, it was faster on the top end than a stage II and had decent torque. It was a while back and I sold that car. You'll have to solder wires on.

300 to fix that s-maxx... s-maxx only go for about 350 no? so why dont you save up more... and get a new one... you could prolly get about 150 for the messed up s-maxx even tho it aint working on e-bay... iono... thats my thoughts...
