making car turn better using tape
I found out a way to make your wheels wobble less and turn better using tape. I used really sticky tape for this. i cut some strips the size you need to put on the little plastic thing that makes your wheel turn that sticks out and the sides of the yellow bar with things sticking out. putting tape on the thing that makes your car turn and the sides of the yellow bar will make your parts turn without being loose and without wobbling action. don't put to much tape because the moving parts will be to tight. sorry for not being specific. i dont know what the names are.

you can also make a 'drift kit' using tape, you put it round your tires to make them bald. free drift kit! and you can use your fav rims.
i herd some where else that reducing wheel wobble make you turn better. you could put washers between the wheel and the knuckle?

nismology: about shimming the bearings in the knuckles... yes you can use something to shim those bearings so that they fit perfectly... at work we use shims in the rear end of our trucks so the pinion gears mesh with the ring gear perfectly... if you are going to do this with your xmod... use some sort of flat plastic and cut the same size and shape of your bearings... slap it in there and see if its the right size... if its not enough add another shim... if its too much find some plastic thats a bit thinner... do this until you are satisfied... btw... do you have metal bearings or are you running on stock plastic bearings?
and as for the tape on the tires... i tried it last night and it worked purdy well... but the tape i used started to shred... so this time i took another pair of rims and taped up the tires, cut it down to size with a razor blade... i'll try the wheels out tonight after work...

i have metal bearings (says in my signature), try using black electrical tape
were you using the fire bird? those 6 cells must give a lot of power, probably why u shredded the tape. i tried it using selotape but with stock motor and awd, so it was slower.

i used the firebird yes cuz its the only one with awd... been looking for the kit from anywhere... but cant get it for the mustang... but i was using the low TH TRIM and when the batteries started to go kaputz i switched it to high... but i think it was cuz i only went around the tire like 1 and 1/2 times... and didnt trim the sides... lolz it was just to see how it worked... but since then ive made a set of taped tires on rims i dont like... i used better stronger tape... went around them at least 3 times... and trimmed the sides with a razor blade... so these should last longer... but i just havent driven the firebird because im helping my girlfriends brother learn to drive stickshift... =P... im almost sure that these new set of tires ive setup will work well tho...
btw... 6 cell is the best mod ever... im looking for another 2 AAA battery holder... and then imma mod the mustang too...
