help

ok i feel really stupid but i was working on lightning my xmods chassis up after pulling it back out and fixing it and i got it put back together and it wont take a signal the chips match and the right one is in the right place so i dont know what happened any ideas? and how many volts can the stock board take with no modifications before frying?

I have no idea what your talking about in your first sentence.

Secondly, the "chips" you are referring to are called crystals.

When you say it doesn't recieve a signal, does that mean you know there is power going through your system? If you have your wheels turned and flip the switch do they twitch towards the center?

Check the connections of the crytals if that trully is the case. Sometimes after taking them in and out so often the clips inside get loos and don't clamp down.

As for the voltages, it all depends on your system, mainly the motor you're running. I've fried both a gen1 and an evo with 6 cells. Other people have run 7. Some motors draw more current so you're not able to run that many cells.

ok thank you will try and i mean when both are turned on remote control and the car itself nothing happens and i know that its not the power but if in the car either the crystal thing you mentioned or something else because the power is perfectly connected and wired up
