Or you could use the LED's out of a ZZ-SE body, get a little creative about mounting, install a quick connection wired to the battery, and throw in a switch for good measure...

Update: there's 6 copper threads in 1 wire so i divided the threads in half and gonna attach them on each side of the 2 metal stripes.
instead of the resistor on the 2 metal stripes

I know this is an old thread, but could someone post a link to these light kits? I've looked on the Toys-R-Us website, but don't see the light upgrade refered to here.

Hey azimov, I know the Lighting kits are for Superslicks but I thought I'd use it for a Motorworks so?... It's great
To answer your question about the you probably have to options:
1) the lighting kit isn't only a lighting kit, try typing Superslicks 30,000 R.P.M or Merecedes Body or something like that.
2) They no longer sell them anymore because I got mine for $1.00 here in Utah. You might find them somewhere else though.

Ahhh, that's my life in a nutshell. A day late and a dollar short, lol. Oh well, thanks for the reply. I just thought they would be good modding fodder to have lyin around.
