Cheapest & Best place to get Bit Char-g

Ok, I have several ZipZaps, and a MicroSizer.

Now I want the Bit Char-Gs... for the extra frequencies [I want to set up a track that myself and friends can race on, all together - or at least 4 or 5 of us!]

Where is the best place [and cheapest] to buy the Bit Char-Gs?

Has anyone had luck with Cosmo Games [and how quick are the shipments sent out?]

Thanks alot for any info!

Ok, I found that ToyEast has the best prices... has anyone ordered anything from them? I want to be sure they are reputable before I drop a load of money on them :c)

Their prices are FAR below Drift King and Cosmo Games... and their shipping prices aren't too bad either... how long does it take a shipment from ToyEast to get to USA? Maryland, USA?

Thanks again!

Actually, I did order from them.
The order took 5 days to arrive in my town in Greece.

Unfortunately I don't know how long it will take for US.

But I can assure you that the packaging was very good and everything arrived intact.

So if you want my advise then, buy from them.

Due your homework! I found Toyeast selling clones with some poor and deceiving advertising. It's going to be tough getting them for under $26 or $27 dollars a shot.

I purchased through Cosmogames simply for the selection and they came in short order packaged perfectly.

Well AceQ, I can say that your statement has me a little worried, but then again, Zakkorn's statement is positive. I will wait and see what happens. I got the Express shipping, so I should be able to track the package in its journey to me, which should be interesting. As for deceiving advertising and clones, I dunno, I *ordered* Tomy Bit Char-Gs from them, so that is what I am expecting.

Zakkorn, what did you order from ToyEast?

And AceQ, where did you hear about them selling clones?

Thanks again!

I've ordered from Hobby Link Japan at http://www.hlj.com before. Some people on the board have mentioned problems with them, but my order went just fine. You have to realize before you order though, that it can take a while to get your order. It took mine about 3 weeks to arrive. I got one of the yellow bB's (57mhz) from them for $10. Can't beat that

Right now they have the black bB on sale for about $12 http://www.hlj.com/cgi-local/hljpage.cgi?TOM62852 Unfortunately it's 27mhz so it won't give you an extra frequency in addition to your amercian cars. They do have a bunch of other cars for $23-$30.

order from toyeast

its fast and not all of them are clones... they are cheap because they are located in hong kong. just because they are cheap does not mean theyre clones... i ordered twice from them. i ordered the sprinter trueno tuneup box and a project d set the first time, and a digi q and the skyline history set the second time, both came within a week. btw i live in hawaii. so it should be pretty fast.

My first Bit was from Toyeast, also with a Tyre set, a 2.2 Motor and a Light-Mod set.
The other Bits were from different ebay sellers because I couldn't find them at that time at Toyeast.

I agree with dumboi that because they are cheap doesn't mean that they are clones.

And if you check the page about Radio Control at Toyeast, you will see that they have Tomy's cars links in a different box than the clones.

Yeah... I saw the different links to clones on ToyEast's website... I went straight for "Tomy"... and I double-checked my order, and all the bits I ordered say Tomy on the web site and Tomy on the package pictures, so I'm pretty sure they're gonna send me Tomy Bit Char-Gs :c)

Oh hey, I just checked ToyEast's web site and through them, ended up at some shipping "Track & Trace" page.

The shipment was shipped 10/24/02, and should arrive 11/29/02.

Whatever happened to fast shipping? Or is this some "catch-all" date that will be updated to say, sometime next week?

buying...

after doing alot of research and trying to contact these online stores.

in my opinion...

sigmaautomotive is by far the best...his website is up to date with what's in stock...if it is not mark out of stock...when you try to order it will not let you. which is nice cause some sites let you order first then tell you it's backordered.

the person who runs the site is great at contacting you...either by phone, email or on their message board.

myself and 3 others ordered cars, bodykits, and motors.

I think that the Track & Trace arrival date is just a "guess".

Because mine said that shipped 10/4 and that it would arrive 16/4. But at the end it arrived 9/4. It took 5 days.

I remind you that Im leaving in Greece, Europe.
I don't know how long will take for you at US.

But to other people that they ordered from HongKong to US took them about 7 days.
So don't worry

As mentioned by some of the people above, they may be a fine and credible source. I just suggest you ensure you know what you are purchasing and watch for deceptive links.

I'm not attempting to say they did a switch with the products, if you see the Tomy Bit Char-G in your basket; you should be good to go.
