Smile more power more speed

I have an evolution(GCOUPE) that I am currently running stage 2 motor, awd, & bearings. ( 12-23 ). I want more power/speed. What engine would give me the best combination with out doing additional mods to support the upgrade. In addition were would you suggest I get it.

Thanks

I got to look into the mini Z motor. I was also looking at the stage 3.

I occasionally see someone mention a stage 3 motor. What is this? RS only makes a stage 2 motor upgrade so where are people getting this stage 3 thing from?

How would I go about installing one of those motors, and do they need anything else in order to work?

They say the Stage 3 you can put in and run. It seems anything faster you need more mods.

I am now leaning towards the super-speed one. If I do this engine I need to do an FET upgrade. I am in the process about learning about fet and stacking. I have a prior thread open asking help regarding the super-speed and fet upgrade but no one has gotten back to me yet.

Would brushless model plane motors work ?
While looking at local hobby shop for innovation for newly acquired evo-h2, i saw a 130'ish can in airplane section.

I'm not sure the stock electrics could handle it.

I was looking at the X-2 Light Speed Pro Edition. I'm probably going to buy it soon.

I have read that the X2 hauls. I was thinking about the super speed. The thing is i am wondering if i have to do the FET upgrade on the evo. or can i plug and play?.

Email that I got from performanexmods.com about what motors can run on stock evo fet's.

The v3 & X-1 will work very well on stock EVO Fets. I would also
recommend getting something extra, such as comm drops (if running the
motor at higher voltages) or possibly a booster if running below 5.5v.

I think that refers to the number of turns in the wire.
