nice to see this place is still here. I was looking through my old cupboard full of stuff, and came accross my old Bit collection. Ahh the old days... I ended up selling them for quite a price because 1 person recognised them as the first bits produced here in australia, when all this hype started. Dunno whats so good about that, but he wanted to pay for them
So i went through cleaning out my wardrobe recently after seling the bits, and found a few clone bits. 1 of them was completely screwed, but this other one was quite cool.
It had duel cell and front and back lights already installed. It is exactly the same size as the normal bit, but completely outstretches it in speed. It has a turbo switch on the controller giving it a huge burst in speed. I am assuming thats where the duel cell comes in. I have no idea what type the motor is, but i will take a closer look and compare it to other motors. The draw back is that the back axel is not interchangeable, and neither are the gears. There is also an on/off switch on the bottom of the car too.
Now to the point. Since it already has stock duel cell, i think i should be able to pull off a tri-cell mod
but it wont stop there, i plan to make it a Monster Truck Bit like the ones betty-k has over at bit pimps. It might be a bit more of a challenge because it is a clone so the design is quite different.
