"What's in the case?" "Doom."
FINALLY got my waterjet-cut foam case inserts today. I worked on this layout for some time and finally got it to the cutters. They gave me an estimate for $250 total (top and bottom), but wound up doing it for free (I've also got them cutting AA battery heatsink/holders & will be having them do some custom titanium chassis' that I am designing, which may have been a factor in the free foam work.)
Basically, this sucker (and I still have to secure the stuff and do a few tweaks here and there) can hold 2 bodies, a AAA and AA battery harness, spare tie rods, wheel axles (and other assorted parts), screws, batts, 5 motors, 3 Dean's flex antennas, 2 spare ESCs, scale, parts bin, 2 turbo assemblies, wheel cleaning chemicals, tools, crystals, my dyno, chargers, and 10 sets of tires.
I'll post a better pic once I get it finalized and in use.

A little too much time on your hands there?
Pretty impressive, though....I should do that for all of my parts. I have a butt-load of parts, but they are in organizers...
Obsessive? Hmmm....

Heh, wait'll you see my turbo assembly and remote. Muhahahaha! One's a cartridge-based heatsink assembly that's plug n play, and the other is a 7-can paint job with a rubber handle custom molded to my hand (I spent 2 weeks learning how to make orthopedic inserts to do this)
