Paulo...Noone is going to kill you. All suggestions are welcome. BMW's are an interesting idea. Personally, I like the 5 series. an X5 would look cool as well, but again, they would need to do something about the wheels to get it to look right.

Good call on the Peugot and WRX....especially the WRX. The WRX shell would probably work pretty well on the Chassis without looking too bad.....not so sure I'd go for the Protoge.
I'm thinking a Mini Cooper would be cool, but they would have to do some serious mods to the back of the SE chassis to get the rear of the Mini to look right.
BTW....WRX shells for the ZZ can be had. Its not an SE type shell with the lights....but...

Sdog that WRX is sweet.
I like the BMW and Nissan Skyline suggestions.
I don't know how you guys feel about the 5-0, but a police car with a working light rack would be cool. Just imagine the high speed chases that could be had. An ambulance body on a monster truck chasis would be killer, but that's just me.
I have to say I am surprised RS hasn't released any emergency type vehicles yet. Those models seem to appeal to everyone.

Those WRX's come in a set called Mean Speed Machines by a company called Hitari. The only place I have ever seen them for sale is in store in the UK called Argos. The chassis in the set is almost identical to an original ZZ. I picked mine up on Ebay.

Ha...thats a pretty good photoshop job there. I think the rearend is a bit short though. You would never get a shell with a short rearend like that on a ZZ SE chassis. Not a bad looking car, but I would rather see the Mazda 3 than the P5.

Re: What ZZ SE Models Would You Like to See?

Personally, I would like to see more muscle car bodies. To me, the muscle car bodies (Chevelle, GTO, Boss Mustang, Cuda) have looked the best so far. I think this is partially due to the fact that the proportions of those cars were more accomodating to the ZZ SE's high profile chassis and RS starting using bodies with separate front and rear pieces. Many of the other bodies just look too out of proportion. This is especially true the Viper and the Ford GT, which I found very disappointing. The new Mustang Mach 1 is actually very well proportioned and seems to have a slightly longer nose than previous models. I hope this trend continues on future models.
So, if RS plans to continue using that high profile chassis, they should come up with some car models with proportions that can accommodate it.
Some models that come to mind for now include:
- Any year Dodge Super Bee
- 67-69 Camaro/Firebird (I know there are non-SE versions, But I would like to see these in an SE with the multi-piece bodies)
- Early 70's Camaro/Firebird
- 60's box Nova
- Chevy Nomad
- Ford Torino GT
- 60's Shelby Mustang
- Shelby Cobra
I'd also like to see some muscle car wheel and tire sets that are not the hubcap style. I'd like to see actual rims and raised white letter tires. Wheel kits like this would drastically improve the look of the cars.
|
Who says RS doesn't listen to its customers.....
MORE SHELBY'S PLEASE!
I hope these come in a few more colors...
Lets see a '68 Shelby GT500 next...
Then an AC Cobra!
Oh yeah.....don't forgout about the muscle car style rim and tire kits RS....and hurry up.

It would be cool for radio shack to come out with better praportioned F-150's and maybe come out with a Ford bronco for the MT's. Im new to the zip zaps I have a Traxxas Nitro Rustler lol cant run gas cars in the house so I had to get somethin small and electric to play around with.
