Free suspension upgrade
Im not sure if this has been posted before but i was noticing how sad the stock springs are on the xmod and i didnt want to pay all that money for the radio shack upgrade,, I decided to just modify the stock springs:
Here is what you do:
Remove the springs, then just pull on them a bit until they just about double their length,, then re install them,, much stiffer and the best part,, FREE!
Im sure after a while they may return to close to the origional stiffness but so far they work awsome

not a problem, i figured i would save someone some money,, that radio shack suspension upgrade is way over priced for some cheap springs and a couple of different colored shocks in my opinion

The RS upgraded springs do that too.

if you guys if you guys have braces or a friend with them and have the right size rubberband things.. you can slip them on the upper part of your shocks so your springs push into them. they compress the spring more.
the rubber might also absorb vibration and shock? probably not a significant amount though.
