Rally/Off Road tires,,, Check this out
ok, so ive been doing some carpet driving and i noticed even with the all wheel drive i spin the tires and its just not reaching its full potential. Here is what i did:
I took these smaller lego tires (item #6015) they are tiny and in no way would ever fit over the xmod wheels. I took a dremel and ground them out until i just about got to the tread(very thin but not thin enough that they would rip) Then i streached it over the wheel and there ya go, instant rally tires.
So far ive only got one made and im working on the next 3 but i thought i would get this thread up now. Ill let you know how it handles

here is a shot of it with all the tires on. Ive always had the rear wheels inside out for the wider stance,, the rally tires will fit either way if you dont like the wider stance.
So far it works great on carpet, i havent tried it on a harder surface but im sure that street tires will be better on that but for off road/carpet these work great
Now i think i need to find a subaru wrx rally body that fits(maybe a mini z?) just to complete the look

Or...
You can also use tires from a ZZMT. Knobby tread, slicks, or chevron tread. A little more ground clearence, and loads of grip for the dirt/gravel.
BTW-incase anyone doesn't know, ZZMT is zip zap monster truck.

I have a zzmt and i never thought about using those,, only problem is the body may not fit if im using the larger tires and you lose a bit more speed and power when using the larger tires. I liked these because even though they have great tread they are still lower profile and i dont lose the power because of the diameter of the tires

I think there is no need in converting a miniZ Subaru since there is a XMODS subaru. Visit HPI -> XMODS in Japan, there are two subarus with different paintings and decals.

That's all well and good, but how do you get one?

Ok, so, considering the relative scarcity of the japanese XMods in the US, wouldn't it make more sense to convert a Mini-Z body?
I also just noticed that you are in Spain. We don't get the Subaru body here, but you may. I'm sure we get some cars that you don't get also.
