Steering Knuckle Trimming

So I was visiting AtomicMods.com, and wanted to try there Steering Knuckle Trimming. But they had a warning about cracking the knuckle, so I find a easier way, and it takes 5 minutes to do it.

The concept is found on this page:
http://www.atomicmods.com/How_To/XMO...e_Trimming.htm

Do not use anything else shown on the page.

Here's what you want to use:

- Stone drill bit(to sand down the plastic)
- Drill(to operate the above item)

That's it... no need to use pliers and stuff.. the stone drill bit costs like 2-3$.. and you might even have one at home already!

This looks like that would not help you turn tighter or faster, and that would void the warante/ get you kicked out of teh XRL. personally i would not do it unless you don't give a _____ about the XRL, or have extra knuckles such as from the AWD kit.

Did anyone here actually race in the XRL? I didn't find out about the one that was supposed to happen here until a month after it happened. It never was posted on the website, either.
