Yeah, I had problems with their tie rod not fitting under their drive shaft flange (?) in addition to the front diff rubbing against the tie rod teeth, but outside that, they all fit together OK. Overtightening the lugs (I've got those nylon locking ones, but they're 4mm) will lock up the wheels, but then I've got 8 wide track bearings + shims in there, too.

I like the dogbones aside from that, but I've seen from inkari's site that the a arms were not thought about. I'd get the bear essentials, like knuckles and dogbones and cups, but otherwise, I'd stay away. I wouldn't want to be modding parts I paid a lot for.

I've got all the GPM parts (minus the titanium shaft...search the gallery for GPM and RadioShack to see mine), and the only ones that don't fit are the suspension arm due to the deck plate (takes a little bit of shaving) and the tie rod (although my issue may have been due to custom chassis I'm using). The biggest downside to those parts, IMO, is the added weight, as the dremel modding wasn't more than 15 minutes total.

Yeah, but still, GPM should've figured it out when they designed it.

radioshack comes out with something good and GPM screws up on the parts. but i def. have to get the front end from GPM cause its all loose. One more thing does anybody know were i can get 2 bearings i put wide bearings in and gave the rest to my girl but i put 4WD and i need 2 more

I don't think the GPM fixes that. I'd suggest getting some brass eyelets in the holes to true it up, like betty k. did on bitpimps.

I repurchased teh front suspension arms because I screwed up and widened the screw holes on my old ones. Good news: GPM fixed them. Not only do they have room for the knobs on the front deck plate (I reordered one so I don't have a shaved deck plate), but it also comes with some plastic spacers to go over the top screw holes, which *greatly* improves the performance of the front suspension.
Regarding pricing on those GPM parts, taking them off the AtomicMods site (general & bored person I am), which has prices similar to what you'd see on E-Bay or going directly to Dinball (www.rcmart.com) or J & G (www.jandgstore.com):
knuckles: 15.95
tie rod: 9.95
shocks (which I should know by memory, since I own 8 pairs): 8.95
front gear box: 13.95
rear gear box: 14.95
rear axle shafts: 4.95
front axle shafts: 4.95
front AWD shafts: 100.95 (j/k...supposedly they're too difficult to make in aluminum. Radio Shack should at least test out a limited edition XMODS set that had their own aluminum or even titanium parts, by pre-order only to gauge interest)
front a-arms (atomicmods shows the "old" arms that don't work with the front deck plate as-is, but GPM has fixed it recently): 16.95
rear arms: 19.95
driveshaft supports (both of them): 12.95
front deck plate: 9.95
rear deck plate: 12.95
front cup joints: 19.95 (I think it's overpriced)
rear cup joints: 19.95
lock plate: 8.95
battery covers: 9.95

For a grand total of: $214.15. If you spend that much, I'd recommend buying a custom chassis, too.

Yeah, mine has every GPM part made for the XMODS, minus the titanium drive shaft (it's in the gallery) + the texalium chassis. It weighs about 30 grams more than a stock car, so I run with neo magnets which gets me slightly above stock (I'm building a lith board right now), but the handling is much nicer, and in almost every collision, I win (I've lost against a transmission and once took a t-bone that knocked my crystal loose)

The frame that Horshu speaks of is the Zero frame made with silver cf.

BTW: That was a limited run, so there are no more AFAIK, although I heard a red one was coming out soon. The one I have was $75, for point of reference.
