I've already got mine running on aftermarket electronics (I'm #2 to be running). While Brick used an aftermarket ESC, HE HAS A SPECIAL CIRCUIT THAT ALLOWS HIM TO USE HIS XMOD CONTROLLER!!!

You're kidding, right? I've dumped at least 70 into an aftermarket receiver and servo, so this is actually really a bargain.

My point is, I already have a good hobby radio. Why would I spend $36 just for this?

I've put in at least 50 for JUST the receiver and servo, no radio, and my radio was another 40. This way is cheaper, and it's still controlled by an xmod controller.
