Lithium questions

What's the best place to get them. I don't want to upgrade my fets. Also, is there a solder-less one? I have a nice soldering iron, but my hands are really really shakey.

if you want to find a good place with the batteries, then just do a search. this has been gone over many many times. there is no way to have a solderless version of these kits unless they come out with a crimp on kind.

The lithiums from www.atomicmods.com are supposed to be good according to the testomonials. I actually ordered the no-drill lithium pro kit from atomicmods the other day and I can't wait to get them.

So I take it that LithIos can't fit in standard AA battery holders? I'm curious because I'm building a new board that needs to take both kinds of batteries.

They can. It takes a bit of solder on the metal rings on one end, but they'll fit fine.

I've been giving thought to using thin prismatic (shaped like a cell phone batter) lith-io. I think they have the same voltages plus they are thinner than AA-style, so the bodies should fit on easier. Anyone give these a try before?

The Li-Ions at AtomicMods have solder tabs on them. It helps! I made my own pro-kit...I bought some Deans connectors online. Easy, and saved lots of $$$.

I bought them at AtomicMods. If you join their forum, you get a discount after a certain amount of posts!

Like I said, get the ones with the solder tabs. That makes it easier to solder.
