More like way overpriced. It'd be great for 23k, but 28 is just too much for it. For a little more, you can pick up a used Z06 vette.

yea i agree, 350z are sick, and if you heard one ud sheet urself... they are a lil pricey tho, i think like 38 for the track model.. on a side note there gunna make the G35 GTR, it will have the current VQ35DE but it will b twin turboed to make 400HP thus makng it the VQ35DETT, and then nissan will slap on the AWD system from their G35 Sedan (which is origionaly form the skyline GTR) this awosme car comes out in 07 and will cost around 50Gs... gunna be an interesting competitor against the 06 Mustang cobra with a supercharged DOHC V8 making similar HP numbers...

too bad i dont have the money for either of these cars

maybe santa could help?

I'm really disappointed by the new GTR, as it seems that it won't like it when you crank the boost up. The next Cobra is going to have somewhere between 420-500+ hp (they're either cranking a little more out of the current motor, or they're swapping to an S/C 5.4).

i think american muscle dosent even come close to imports, i saw the toyota supra is the best car ever i would rather have a supra than Mustang cause i think mustangs are ugly as **** but thats my opinion so all u mustang lover dont complain about how good the mustang is to you cause i dont CARE! seriously
what would u rather drive a supra or a mustang lets think ok if i drove a mustang i would get only some attention and looks why because the mustang is so damn common,,, now if i drove a supra thne id get lots of attention for my car and the supra is already cool as it is.. in the begging of the thread some people were talking about punks driving crap cars with crap tuning....

fisrt where i live (North Carolina) THERE IS NO COOL CARS!

the cars i see every day are--- some old crap car, civic, interga, sentra, maxima, 350z -- the only good car, corvettes- good car,
crap load of vans, F150- ford, mustangs, rx8- 2 times, then i saw this realllllly pimped ouy car it was an rx7 ( i dont like them anyway) but thus one has a huge spoiler, the back was up like a drag car, was white with red flames and red accents all over it , red spoiler, BBS rims, chomed out lights, hood vent, roof vent and a wide body i woulldnt call it good looking but it was pimped out, then i see these half tuners( what i call them) they are chevy impalas with a freakin spoiler bigger than the car and thats all

i've only seen a supra with my own eyes 2 times, up in maryland and in New Jersey( my home town)

Supras are great and all, but they have one huge problem; price. I've seen 100k mile Supras for 23k!! For that same amount of money, you can buy a used Vette, go for a under 10k-mile Cobra that's easier to mod and faster stock to stock, or if you're into it, a new Z for a couple grand more than the other options. I'll tell you one thing; I'd rather have a new or slightly used Z than a 100k-mile Supra. For 23k, you can go out, pick up a 3000GT VR4 (if that's your thing), and proceed to mod it out and have a way better car than some high-mileage Supra. Think I'm full of it?

That's pretty damn sweet, that is, until you get a look at the mileage. Also, I thought all turboes were 6 speeds, but I'm not a Supra expert.

So "RICERS" referes to a modified asian car (japan) and not all asian cars in general. Am I correct?

I thought "RICER" was a modern slang word for any asian car, kind of like the old "RICE BURNER" term used back when the japanese imports were being brought into the states and catching flak from the US auto workers.

I have never really been into sports cars (more of an offroad nut)but the one difference I see between american and asian cars is how they make the horsepower.
American cars mostly go for lower revving/higher torgue/raw horsepower and the asian cars seem to rev higher and use a lot of turbo's.
I prefer raw horsepower over a turbo charged engine but I can not deny that turbo's do a good job of boosting HP.

Oh by the way I drive a little chevy 02 ZR2 tracker, it may say chevrolet on the outside but it's all japanese on the inside and has been a very good little car.(very nimble and climbs hills like a mountain goat)

No way. I'd much rather have a Skyline or slightly used vette over a 10 year old 100k mile Supra. It's like picking a worn-out Civic over a 3000GT (choosing an Escort over a new Cobra for us American fiends).
