Brighter Lights

This is how u make ur LED lights brighter on a ZZSE.

take tape and aluminum foil and cut it into squares. tape it over the lights.

Wouldn't the foil short out the lights? I am not sure how much current goes to the lights, but the foil could ruin the car.

Just be sure you don't allow contact between the leads of the LEDs and you'll be ok. It is possible that short circuiting could occur later from the foil moving around so you are taking a chance if you don't insulate the leads before installing the foil.
I'd suggest painting the area around the LEDs black and also liberally coating the exposed areas of the LEDs leads. This way the light is restricted from shining through the hood and fenders of the car as well as avoiding burning out the LEDs later through a short circuit.
