I think he's using the front suspension on the rear to get rid of that annoying compression camber that the rear gets. Basically, the front has far superior geometry than the rear. No where did he say he wanted four wheel steering.

yea like i dont plan i making 4 wheel steering although that would be a possible mod in the future down the road, right now im more concearned with gettin my baby runnin... also if i loosen the bracket the holds the driveshaft, it alows the rear wheels the pivot slightly, kinda like a shortcut to AWS but like Murcielago659 im just using this setup to have an independant rear suspension

got it all back together and is now being drenched in wd40... later on ill prolly reatke her aprt again and polish it up, make it spiffy and what not...

you may have noticed that there arent wheels.. well im changing up the rear ones, im gunna put the extension on the inner part of the wheel so it dont pertrude out of the body as bad, and also make a smaller lip for show on the outer portion of the rim. finally ill nickel plate them at school.

to get the wider rear wheels to fit i had to cut off the lil rods from the hubs (slide up and down in the lower control arms), and screw the hub directly to the control arm which is made out of construction paper so it moves easily.

as requested my nos button...

it was fairly simple, just wire the switch as a jumper for the "hi" leads of the regualr "Hi" "Low" switch, tricky part was fit it all together.

it isnt pictured but i had to dremel a notch for the wire to fit in, and also shave the lil black contact thing that moves when you turn the wheel (if uve taken apart your controller ud know what im talkin about)

last pic for now,

i also modded even mechanical aspec of the steering, i shaved off the stopper on the steering wheel, because the controller has internal stopers (i should shave those also) i cut down the stoppers on the servo as well as the top indicator on the horn to allow for more travel. i also shaved parts of the chassis to allow for mor wheel travel (the "D" shaped thingys") and also the slides for the stock batt holders (wont b needin those)

thats all for now, enjoy the pics and look forward to my hopefully working electronics by next week...
