YES YES,
I meant the gear-diff. The pic I posted above is my old (still running) Tamtech.
I need to see both sides of the two "output" cogwheels.
In other words, the cogwheel I have removed on the above pic so we can see into the diff.
Thanks!

I have two Tripmates in my basement. They got parked there about 4years ago when i could not find parts for them. But, now that I've found this site, I'll be ordering some stuff and pulling those cars out of the moth-balls.

Wow! 4yrs. I believe MID version should have changed a lot ever since then. Does Kawada have any steel pinion gear instead of stock plastic one?

urq435, want steel pinions?
Buy from Kyosho then. 1/8 motorcycle "hop-ups".
And DONUT, a thousand thanks for the pics!!! This is really good news! The Kawada diff is a faximile of the old Tamtech diff. Which is no longer serviced... Now we're finally able to buy new diffs for our (still in service) Tamtechs
The only difference is the right hand side bevel gear. A bit different, but this is not the part that wears out. The spur gear and the tiny bevel gears are identical.
All this of course means that the Kawada ball-diff also should fit our Tamtechs...
