paint help..
im looking to do candy red over either chrome or gold, im using a candy color from plastikote, its an acyrilic paint.. (called anodizit) i tried over bumper chrome but it didnt adhere (im testing on scrap plastic) however im lettin the chrome drie over night and will retest tomm. whats a good sorce of either gold or chrome that i can spray anodizit over? would rustoleom work?
btw im restricted to rattle cans

I don't think it will work. Paint likes rough surfaces to stick to, and anodizit is very smooth.You could sand it down a bit, but I think you'll lose the chrome effect.

i dunno like on real cars they base em in gold then put the red over it... anyone know where i can find that gold?

use i metalic or pearlescent gold or platinum silver for the undercoat
