I don't know, I don't test my cars in that way. I put them on the street and give it all I got!(It beats my supra which has a 36t, old Impala motor)

Where do you hook up the leads of the turbo onto the xmod?
|
Yes it works the same way. As far as I see, both xmods and mini-z's boards are the same(mini-z is more efficent)

Panasonic CGR18650 3.7 Volt 1400-Mah Graphite Lithium-Ion batteries. You can get they from here: http://onlybatteries.com/showitem.asp?ItemID=11142.11
They are too big for stock Xmods, I have mine in a extended (1/24th scale) ford focus.

I just made a plate. Some people use a cd case. If you want, I could build you one. Here's a pic:

No, it's not MR-02 turbo(they have no breaks). I am made my own version (similar to Woah-nelly but larger fets) so I could keep my break-function. I'm pretty much limited to batteries now(need very high MaH).
All of the Mini-Z turbos I have used were installed the same way the instruction describe.

Are you in the monster business or something?
How do the turbos work? Are they just really big capacitors?

The turbo I build works the same way your stock fets' work. I wanted to use it on a track and I needed breaks. (I tried a turbo without breaks on the track, and I melted the solder off of it)
The monster business... lol, no, I just want the fastest Xmod possible. As long as everything fits under the body and its fast, I'm happy. When I'm finished, I will post a picture.

I use several motors:
The stage 4 I use on the track. It tops out at 56-58km.
The Impala I use on a street track (oval or straight-away). The max on that I've seen was 65km but 60 is normal.
This new motor I'm working on Cheetah-X (named after a slot motor that was discontinued) I still get different speeds. One time I get 94 the next I get 86km. I'm looking for 82- 84km on a oval track and mid to high 90's in a drag.

I realized that the Xmod has brakes just like the MR02.
The brake function may burn out the Turbo.
What did you use to counteract this?
(or did you just get a MR02/OL Turbo?)
