Steering problem, need help?
I installed a new antenna on my car and it worked fine for a couple of hours, then i noticed that the steering wasn't working as good as it used to. Almost as if the magnents where only getting half the power. I tried changing the batteries thinking that might work, it didn't. I took a look at the inside and 2 of the 4 thin wires going to the steering coils where black on the upper half. Could this be the problem? if so, should I replace the wires? and if I do that, what kind of wiring should i use>

Hmm, that was it. There was a small bit of metal there, I didn't think anything of it because it was there before I had the problem. I guess it got shifted into just the wrong spot.
Thanks
