Alright for a kid. I got on for the PCB but didn't work out.
No motor of axle swaps.
It's just a play car.

My first micro car was one of these purchased recently at Wal-Mart for $13.88. It broke within an hour of run time. I exchanged it for another and got a few hours of fun from it before it broke. That's about the time I read about ZipZaps on another forum, so I returned the Wally World car for my money and began the near-endless search for ZipZap cars. That's when the sickness began. As mentioned before, the Motor Works car is just a toy. Runs pretty quick, but nothing is replaceable on it. The body seemed to be screwed and glued to the chassis with no upgrades available without modification. I was disappointed with it overall, but it did give me an appreciation for micro-sized cars and the fun they provide.

that's true...
I have 2 of those walmart motorworks and has been through a lot of abuse from my 2 year old and it's still running (have had it now for more than a week).
He loves how the controller is too. It's easier for him to control than the zipzaps due to the buttons.
I love the speed on these things. I was going to see if these motors are as fast on the zips but I haven't had the chance to remove them yet (it's soldered to the wires).
And... since my 2 year old is having a blast with it, why ruin a good thing.

And for $13.88... I wouldn't call it junk. It's better (build) quality than those SuperRacing ones. The bodies fit better and when you look at the PCB the solder points are cleaner.

Deadite, I'm not particularly hard on my cars, just had a bit of bad luck lately. The monster truck has a bad clutch in the 2-speed tranny and it doesn't want to come apart without busting. The pull starter is also broken. The on-road car has another intake leak and a fried bearing on the belt tensioner. These are just the kinds of things that happen to nitro cars. Great fun when they run, but high maintenance. The Mini Z is nearly new and the ESC is erratic as well as erratic steering. It's going back to Tower Hobbies tomorrow for a replacement. My two Motor Works cars from Wally World just didn't hold up long. The first one refused to run after about 5 charges. The 2nd one lost its steering after a few hours of use. That's when I discovered ZipZaps, so I returned the Motor Works car and have been having lots of fun Zippin'.

Just got one today. Very hard to make go in a straight line. I had to tear it apart just to fix that. Pretty quick though. I think you might be able to put a ZZ gear in it but I haven't tried yet.

I went to Wal Mart today and purchased a Motor Works motorcycle. The quality of the cycle to me seems very good. I was also suprised at the detail of the cycle. Very highly detailed condidering its size. So far it runs fine with no problems

Picture of cycle.
Could you post a picture of the motorcycle and tell me how does it work exactly. I'm just a litle lost on how it could balance on the two wheels.
