e_lm_70,

First of all, Ive never raced an F1 mini-z as it should handle way better than a regular mini-z as i would suppose.. Anyways, whats you handling setup looking like with your 6 cell mod..You have the two bateries on the rear and that could be a factor that im not sure of while my car is lowered very low all around with more weight due to 3 extra batteries on the front which I think balances the car well.. I have 4 in the middle and 3 on the front of the chassis.. Maybe, my car is proportioned right for handling? Im not really sure, but my car handles great as well as my well experienced driving in all RC classes.. I think its a combo between my driving and car setup and would like to demonstrate a friendly race with you some day when you come out here in CALI.

Hi,

I don't think my 6 cell set-up it is too bad ...
In thery I shuold have lower center gravity with my 6 cell set-up then with your 7 cell ...
BTW I guess it is a metter of track type ... on carpet there is so much grip that a F1 can take very fast turn, while a Epoch, will roll over 20 times ! I was thinking to add some wide rear tyres on my Epoch for encrease the weels base.
Probably on a sliding wood track, the Epoch can compate at the same level of a standard Mini-Z.
PS: Already with 6 cell my epoch is not much more light than a Mini-Z ...

P.S: Very curios to see your Epoch under your controll ...

PP.SS: Just got my Mini-X (s) ... I will check soon if I will be able to compete with WWS ... as well I got my PN S02 for Mini-Z ...

PPP.SSS: How much have you done with your 7cell on eBay

e_lm_70,

i forgot to mention that im using arear lexan big wing that is doublesided taped.. This could be a big factor for me as well.. Im also using soft grippy tires from the SPEC1..BTW, i kept my 7 cell and never sold it..
