rfnagel,
If you want to see the 'stuttering' in action, the best way to see it is to do the following:
- Put the car on a solid, smooth surface (wood coffee table or kitchen table or counter, something like that is good)
- Now, using the controller carefully step through each steering step...Holding it in each step for maybe a second.
On my original Savannah, I basically couldn't do this, as trying to 'hold' a position within one of the steps would produce extreme stutter...I put the GTO (or Torino or Chevelle) to the same test and it'll hold its' spot in each step and holds it FIRM with no stutter.
Who wants to wager with me that the $35-$50 vehicle that woman was talking about is going to be the bigger scale cars? Like that limited edition 1/43rd scale Vette that was supposed to be an Epoch killer (yeah right).

I'd say your right Namuna. However, I'd say RS still has something up thier sleeve. Have you guys seen the numbers for the H2 Hummers and the Monster Truck Kit?
60-7044 Black Hummer H2 27mhz $19.99
60-7045 Yellow Hummer H2 49 Mhz $19.99
60-7546 Monster Truck Speed Booster kit $6.99
Interesting no?

Interesting. On my Savanna (I don't currently have access to the other two to try 'em out), I get 5 equal steps in each direction, with no stutter at all (short of just a split-second of stutter when going from one step to the next). After a split-second, there is no stutter at all when holding the controller in any given step's position.
Guess I simply got lucky - Like I posted previously this one (as well as the other two) were from the initial batch that first hit the RS store shelves when they first released the SEs.

Oh man! Sweet!!! (note that I'm not one to normally use the word "SWEET!" LOL!). Where didja dig those numbers up from? I tried a few attempts to direct link to some of RS's web graphics and product pages (hoping to find a few items that haven't been indexed yet on their site), but didn't have any luck.
Man, now my curiosity is WAY up LOL, a Monster Truck Booster Kit? - -

60-7046 Mitsubishi Evo VIII Silver $19.99
60-7047 Mitsubishi Evo VIII Yellow $19.99
60-7543 Corvette Past and Present body kit $4.99

I know they aren't on the website, but they are in the stores computers. Go to your local RS and ask them to look up that number for you. I guarantee you they will find it. I had my RS do the same thing today. They are there, just no listed. I'd say look for them sometime next month. CJ's never been wrong to my knowledge.

I've yet to see any inaccurate information from CJ.
...He's given information even BEFORE the store's computer have them! Sometimes I wonder if CJ works at RS corporate and is the person who actually CREATES all the part numbers!

My RS isn't lowering too many of their prices.
ZZSE RX-7 $24.99 but the Chevelle, GTO, and Torino is $14.99?!
All they lowered is the old hub kit, speed checker, and ZZSE's.
They took out all the XMods stuff and replaced it with ALL their ZZ stuff though.

I hope they vastly improve on the SEs. Maybe they will weigh less.
