problem

i decided to get my xmod out and dust it off and race one of my friends bigger r/c car and needless to say he won cuz my car would run for a few mins and then it just stopped. i turned it off and turned it back on and it worked again for a few mins then it stopped again. i didnt have time then to look at it and havent had much time since then. i dont know what is wrong, any suggestions? eventually i plan to take it apart and clean it and look at it, but until then any help would b great. Thanx

Sounds like your esc is heating up. Do you have a mod motor? If so do you have the heat sink on it? That might heat it up just a little bit more than normal.

mine does that sometimes and its just when i gets a bump or jolt while driving and it bumps the batteries so that they get not as good of a connection try to fold some paper up and put it under the batterie clips it usually helps but they can still get knocked out when you drive hard or flip over or maybe its the thing the other guy said but to me it sounded like this

all fixed

hey guys thanx for the tips, i took it all apart and cleaned it today and ran it a few seconds round the kitchen and it stopped again. when i picked it up i grabbed it by the batteries and felt them fall back into place. so that was all it was is that the batteries were poping loose. i put sum paper in and it works great now. thanx again!
