Well, yeah, you need to to attach the new recevier board to the old ESC, or you can attach the servo and batt packs to the new ESC/reciever board.

I ordered a couple of the PCBs myself, and they were in stock. Should get them in a couple of days. You gotta have extra boards around! I am pretty good at soldering, but I like to have a backup.

I am glad you found them, clownn.

skate, no offence, but i got a few caps both that size and larger.. you just gotta know where to look. but so far i have not found any measurable difference with or without them

now with that said. I don't mean to flame here, but before you go and get all bent out of shape about services that people offer i would like to let you know about my situation, and thoughts on the subject. a few years ago I was in an accident that almost took my life. even today I have a hard time controling fine motor processes. it is a very difficult task for me to even solder a motor wire on mostdays. I do not trust myself with something as delicate as a fet. so far i have been paying a friend to do solder work for me, when I cannot steady myslef enough to do it. to me the services of soldering are worth my money. second. I do not have time to go out set up the connections test test and retest products. it's just not worht it monitarily. so I am willing to PAY someone who is willing to do the work for thier work. welcome to the buisness world.. If you think your paying only for product your wrong. your paying the person who makes that product. your paying the company that brings that product to you. your paying the place that sells the product and the guy who sells you that product. I for one would rather pay a little extra for someone I know has a good product and takes pride in thier product, then somebody who could give a rip less. Lastly on atomic mods prices for stock parts. I remember a time when even ordering the parts from RS did not garentee that you would be able to get them. I remember several members of several boards asking for a good reliable souce for parts. somebody came to the call. he charges more because he tests every part first. he also buys a WHOLE car and dissasembles it. not just the parts from RS. so now I ask you, how much are you willing to pay him to test a product then dissasemble it, package it up and ship it to you? trust me RS doesn't test it before it goes out. they only spot test.. for every 100 pieces they make they might only test 1. gee now for some extra piece of mind it doesn't seem that bad.

lastley I know some of you are going to say that i am atomic mods little puppet. trust me your wrong. I have never met the owner of atomicmods, even though he supports the board i admin, I am not paid by him, or reimbursed for services for him. he is his own person and i am my own as well. so lets just kick that little thought out of your head.

Cy is right - AtomicMods delivers on his promises. It's not hard to believe - ask anyone who posts here. Everybody has used him at least once, and no complaints. Robert Byrd does it the right way: you order, you pay, and he mails it to you...right away...and you receive it quickly. I ordered some stuff to save a buck or two from xmodspeed, and I am still waiting. I ordered it on June 14th. I received an email from them saying 2-3 weeks more. At least they are keeping me informed, but I have no parts yet. I only order 2 upgrade wiring kits, and two heatsinks.

I could have ordered from AtomicMods, paid maybe $8 more, and had my parts in 3 days! Hmmmm...I will not make that mistake again. You live and learn I guess...that's all I have to say about that.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Rob's customer service is second to none. Yes, he does charge more than some, but you WILL get your stuff on time with him, unlike xmodspeed.

I will agree that a $350 is over the top but for the fastest xmod that you can get pre assembeled, and time is money Rob puts a lot of work in to all of the products he puts out there and probably is the best in the business. I mean hell people pay $500 for a brake job that could probably be done for less than $100. his parts, his time, his bottom line. So just because you wouldnt pay it doesnt give you the right to bash anyone who would. GET A LIFE MAN.

Yet again I would like to make another comment... I believe that most people are willing to pay extra for parts that people may say are better or upgraded... I for one have fallen into wanting a R-Tune motor for my Supra... I just think that if newbies wanna pay more for a product they have to wait less time on and have a better gaurentee that it will make it there in a week instead of a month let them make that desicion for themselves... I know this was to inform newbies about the problems and all of being ripped off... But still you really don't have the privelages to rag on someone else's sites and things just because it is overpriced or not really nessicary... Also some should be smart enough to shop around instead of buying the first thing they look up... I mean seriously there are hundreds of Xmod sites out there and they should just searce but, some are just to rich and lazy to do that and thats why they get ripped off... For not shopping around...Thats up to the consumer and there decisions... Just my state of mind about dumb problems that you all fight about...

Does it realy matter how long a product takes to get to you? Because if the are offereing Low prices and you know they are good then is it worth waiting for? i would glady wait a month for a new motor.

Consider this:

You see a top of the line motor for your car.
You know and trust the brand.
Its a Very low price.
You know it takes a long time to ship and get to you.

Would you get it any way?

Yes, if it was a name brand I knew and trusted. Then yes. I just don't know why these guys fight over it all can someone please explain the reason of all this to me? Either I'm dumb or this fighting makes no sence to anyone and is useless...
