I like it for being unique and not doing a simple paint job like everybody else. did you do the cracks by hand or did you just put the thinner on? I like it. most people are just used to things that are more common and hate things that are different... dont worry about them.. its like how tuning cars was stupid to some people at first but now lots of people do it..

well it does sorta look like scales if you get close but from a distance of like more than a foot it looks like a messed up car. oh well it looks better than you last car.

hehehe sawhit4, well i didnt exactly rush this one but more is one the way... i redid the carbon fiber hood on my supra using testors decal system.. im also going to redue the spoiler eventually and the lenses... for my camaro im in the process of making racing stripes black/ orange (no sure yet, color opinions are welcome) as well as some accents to make the camaro more or a reptile

my latest creation is a metalic black 95 elcipse (from a AMT model) the only prob im having is the the testor graphics wont show up against the black, so im waiting for a double printed set to dry (hopefully itll stand out a lil more than the single printed version) (any tips on how to get the graphics to stand out againt black would help)

if all is well i should get in an update with my 3 finished cars by next monday cause i leave for florida the next day (tuesday).. sry bout the length just had alot to say... payce

what color is the graphic? a different color would help. Also if you think you could mask the graphic on the car and paint it instead of use the sticker that would definatly help cuz you could pic the color. Besides that i dont know how to help. I like the american muscle alot more than the ricer. Stick to american muscle and you can never go wrong I love american muscle. Cars that arent low to the ground or all aerodynamic going faster than the low ricers always makes me happy. To me american muscle comes off as stong powerful but ricers come off as breakable and weak. I know this isnt the case but thats just the way it comes off as.

hey proboarder, are you talking about adding stripes to the camaro, orr doing the "scales" to my eclipse..

sawhit4- i just double printed the graphics (printed, let the ink dry and ran the same paper to be printed again) i was shooting for a silver and gunmetal design but on the car right now it looks more of flat black, which i may say looks good and gives the car a very sleek dark horse look...
i shall call it Project: _ _ _ _ _-_ _ _ _ _ _ o well you'll just have to wait and see!

Really cool, rexcept you should get the new body from RS and paint it like that. I know this was made before the Camaro xmod came out.

wtf?!?!?

yah I'm not too crazy about the paint on that car either. I didn't say I didn't like the paint job, I think it's awesome!!! I wish you could get payed for unique ideas. Cause that's pretty sweet...just on another car. I'm not too crazy about the intake though either. I think those scales would look awesome on ,...well ... not that car. I don't know why those other guys didn't like it.

personally i think the paint looks bad ass......but only when your close to it or when its in the light properly. From a far it seems like you just really botched a paint job.

Oh and with the front assembly being run in the back you cant just hook the steering knuckles together and let them turn whenever they want. You have to make a lock out. Thats where they are both connected together (like you have already done) and one of them has a link to the chassis of the car.
