Sorry to hear that.... If I were you I would have gotten the number to the district manager and B*****d I do work for a radio shack, and that really appals me, all of us employees know how tight the supply is but that is really uncalled for especcially if he didn't have the $$ then and you did! seriously, also if you would rather, and can remember the managers name there is a place on the website that you can contact the company through e-mail. I hope that you get your cars and soon.
soory to hear about that

yea those radioshack employees are huge ***** for doing that. just look on ebay, i just saw the two FF kits selling together for about 40 dollars, and there were close to 20 bids. I picked both of the kits up for under 20 bucks at RdShack.
lack of ZZ's just gives ya more reasons to buy a bit =p

My experience is similar to Catman25's. I worked hard to find my ZZ cars, but it's taken 2 weeks of whining, driving, calling, wheeling, and dealing to score a FF Tuner Set. I've called all the local stores almost daily and visited some of them in person just to see if the story is the same. I was lied to almost every time. One employee would say ZZ merchandise had arrived, but haven't had time to unbox it and put in inventory, check back tomorrow. When I went there in person, another person would say they never got the stuff in, check back in a few days. Hmm. This happened over and over. Yesterday, I was determined to find the FF tuner kit if it was in stock anywhere in the Houston area since I had some errands to run anyway. I called many stores and was told by some that they might have stuff in that afternoon. I drove to one 30 miles away, but they didn't have it in stock, however, there was another customer there looking for the same thing and he had the clerk call around to other locations for him while I was there. The clerk found the kit at a store that was another 30 miles away and told them to hold the kit for this customer. When he explained to the customer where this store was, he began complaining about how far it was to drive and how much the toll would cost on the tollway and how he wasn't sure it was worth it. While he was whining, I slipped out the door, hit the highway, and 40 minutes later I was able to purchase the FF Tuner Set! He was probably still there complaining to the clerk in his hometown. All told, I drove about 120 miles round trip and paid $6 in tolls, but I got my hands on what I wanted. They had one more FF set left on the shelf, but the wheels were a mismatched set. If he decided to go on and get it, he'll be a little disappointed since I got the last good set. I might sound a little devious( ), but I have spent a lot of time trying to score the ZZ stuff that I've got and figured a little more driving wouldn't hurt. Gave me some quality time with my daughter.
Still wonder if some R/S employees are skimming the products for themselves. I've seen too much suspicious activities. I visited 5 locations yesterday alone. One thing I hate is to be lied to. If the merchandise is out of stock, I understand, it's very popular stuff. When different employees in the same store all have different stories, it sort of puffs me out a little.
I now have a 49Mhz PT Cruiser, a 27Mhz Porsche 911, a Performance Booster Kit, a Custome Wheel and Tire Set, and a FF Tuner Kit. It took 3 weeks to get all the stuff I wanted with purchases made at 4 different stores. ZipZaps are hot right now!

I remember a few weeks ago calling around to RS and askign and most of them going uh? when I asked about there own products. Maybe I was lucky or just soon enough cause I went to 4 different stores within 5 miles of me and was able to score 5 fftuner kits.

If you think that bad. I went to buy the DiGi-Q tanks and I notices abput 10 of them. But they those cashers had already put them in behind a drape behind the counter for themselves! I lost it and reporting them to the distr bosses. Well I heard from e-mail from them and they told me the fired all three of the ('()(''( workers! And he offered me a set of tanks they took. If i wanted to buy them. Well I said thank you.......See the system does work.

That is justice I say for those workers. I hate when that crap happens at stores. I mena the workers should be able to buy just like everyone else, but they should not be able to horde things for themselves. Or have soemthing held for them if the store doesn't hold things for everyone else.
