How to Diy an IR target?

I did not use the program (too paranoid to install other ppls programs, at least till I get a decent backup of my system )

I have no clue how the lego IR tower thing works... I just know it sends bits and bytes to the Lego RCX brick... and the brick talks back to the tower... it has multiple IR LEDs and Sensors...
