That's one of the key disadvantages to XMODS. They are often faulty and disproportionate(sp?) with one another(When I say disproportionate, I mean that the RSX for instance, can be faster than the Supra for no apparent reason).

i would understand if it was slighty slower in one way or another, but i mean the supra is exaggeratedly slower to the rsx in every way,i'm going to take all the upgrades off,put it back to stock form motor and all ,and swap to the rsx and see, what happens.if the supra responds like i think it should and the rsx behaves like the supra did ,then i must be doing something wrong during install, even though everything seems to have been installed correctly.

Have you replaced the bevel gears? If you did then you may have a gear meshing problem.

before you transfer all the parts, try them one at a time. take the motor out of the supra first then put it in the RSX, if it works take the motor out and try another upgrade. if everything works individually then you messed up somewhere in the installation. try the supra stock and see if it works ok, if it does try reinstalling everything together again in the supra and see if it works better. if not take the drive train apart starting at the wheels. take them off, then see if it works ok (obviously you wont run it on the floor). if thats the problem you need to loosen the wheel nuts some. then take the rear differential out to see if the front is causing the drag. hold it up and hit the throttle and let go, if one side of the front stops eariler then the other you need to loosten the differential. do this by holding the side that stops later and play with the throttle. (bring it up and down) then let go and see if that side still stops earlier. then do the same thing with the rear.

big diffrence
well i swapped everything over like i said i was ,during this i double checked everything to make sure i didnt overlook anything, everything looks okay on both cars.on the supra everything is back to stock like when purchased,i put batteries in and turned it on,and when i gave it gas the response was like the rsx except i noticed that one wheel (lh side) was the only one spinning, until i turned the other one by hand then it engaged or something after that it was just like the rsx. now the rsx with all the upgrades installed with stage 2 white motor w/matching bevel gear,it runs and responds a little slower than it was in stock mode.could this be because of the awd kit? or its something
that has to be with my install? would tightening all screws in drivetrain be the cause?

did you degreas the bearings? that may be the problem. spray them with brake cleaner, then soak them in Super Clean for about a 1/2 hour, spray them with brake cleaner again then lube them with graphite.

no, i didnt degrease the bearings, the two cars have a total of about5 minutes combined(running time) and tried out on hardwood floor in living room.ive spent more time customizing the supra body, and a couple of autoscale bodies i picked up at the hobbyshop, but the bearings or anything else didnt have debris on it so i doubt that that would the problem.im starting to think it might be differential related.
btw. i'll post pictures of my cars when i finish them so you guys can check them out.

highly doubtful its the diff unless the cone gears and diff housings arent meshing right. you should degrease the bearings anyway, just to keep water out. i also forgot to tell you to spary WD-40 or Slick 50 1 lube in them before you lube them with graphite.

i know what you guys are talking about. I had every mod on my supra and i hit a soft wall going full speed. It knocked some of the stuff loose and jammed the gears. i later put everything on the civic and now they work perfectly

the only diffrence is that you have been using your supra ,and hit something which caused it to work improperly,on mine i bought all the upgrades at the same time as i got the supra, and without even using it once,i swapped all the upgrades in and was getting
****ty results, which was my bad since i should have at least tried it once in stock mode to compare the upgrades.well i took everything off and tried it totally bone stock and know it really scoots just like the rsx(before i put all the upgrades to it).
except for one thing that happens once in a while, sometimes only the left hand rear wheel spins when i accelerate, and the other doesnt until i turn by hand then it starts to spin with the other one. now what am i doing wrong know? does somebody
know the riddle to this batman?
