4 wheel drive....slowwwwww

hey, well i recently installed 4 wheel drive into my car and it seems to be alot slower than before. theres a huge difference on handleing but im not sure if the hit on speeds is worth it, has anyone else had this problem? just curious, thanks.

no replacement for displacement

yah, I installed AWD, but only noticed better performance, because I installing a stage 2 motor as well.
If you don't have the stage 2, I recommend it.

The bearings, awd, stage 2, and suspension make a noticeable difference.

more moving parts = more work = more drain/strain on the motor... = slower car

i'll put it this way... to push all-wheel drive to it's max... use an aftermarket HIGH tourqe motor... don't go trying to use a satge 1 stock motor... lol... unless you want a slow car with good handling.

have a fast car with great handling... upgrade to a sleek motor like a team orion modified 180 or a motor from atomicmods.com or xmodspeed...

if you are going to install AWD you need to do the bearings before or at the same time or you will have a slow car.
