Help!
i was running my supra in our shop where i always do and was doing high speed drifts i was full throttle down a long straight and went to turn into my dirft and a rock stuck under the front of my car so i lost steering control and still at full throttle ran head on into a very large air tank i then made the run back to the start of the straight and punched it it was only the third run including the crash and it was acting like i had made the 10 to 15 runs i normaly get out of a set of batteries. i want to know if it may be serious i was on fresh batts one of the batts did pop off of the contact but i put it back in correctly and it didnt make a difference. im running rayovac nimh rechargeables that are on their 7th or 8th charge

i dont think a loose wire would have done it. try recharging them and see if maybe the shock did something.

if a wire is partly broken off it will be weak beacuse of less contact

so if it was hanging by a single strand and a lot of amps were being pulled through it the wire would break just like in a fuse right?

That could be so, but a wire wouldn't have to be hanging by a lone strand to have a weak electrical connection. The mechanical connectivity could be just fine, but even if some snapped wires are touching, if there are enough breaks, you'll lose a lot of power in the exchange. Still more power may be taking more time to get where it's going, possibly characterized by sudden jumps and drops in current.
