I just opened up a gold civic and it came with the old PCB. Your best bet is the black mustang. The two I've purchased came with the new PCB's. You can find them at almost every Radio Shack. They're pretty well stocked now. From what I've seen anyways.
EDIT: If you're looking for just the chassis, see if someone here has one up for sell. You won't find a bare chassis at Radio Shack.

stupid
i'm stupid and have no clue what or how to jumper these to restors any have a pic what a restor looks like or some thing really wanna do this mod.

Dude, check out the ZZ faq by mattidah. It has instructions on how to do it. I'm not so sure its even worth doing anymore though depending on the age of your car.

The bridge mod did produce enough torque to push the lego tires that the stock battery normally can't do, but with my usual dual cells my jeep will do donuts until I make it go straight. Not worth it to me, but I am interested in that FET swap that was mentioned.

Nightwing, did you do a schematic of that h-bridge? I'm curious where those resistors are in the circuit. I can't imagine these being anything but base resistors.
