Hoods!

hi people ive just seen the coolest mod ive ever seen!
You should be able to see the car hood is open,now i was wondering if there's a something allowing it to open and close?.Ok,so please could you help me out on this one guys coz im kinda stumped how you could do this!

Jesus Christ that spoiler is DAMN ugly. But the openable hood is very cool

By the way, I believe that you need either putty or parts from other cars to make the spoiler. Oh and glue of course. As for the hood, maybe an Xacto knife (is that how it's spelled?) to cut the hood from the body. But I have no idea how to make it open and close like a real hood.

while in stained glass i came into contact with some really really really small hindges like those on a door or cabinet door. I supose u might be able to use these as they are small enough. Try looking in some hobby craft stores.

You could make your own hinge out of a piece of scored plastic and glue. Just get some of the thin clear plastic like the inside packaging of a MicroSizer, and cut out a rectangle the size you want the hinge to be. Then take your xacto and run it where you want the plastic to fold, but don't cut all the way through. Glue it to the hood and the inside of the car. Boom, done.
