RX-7 is a great car, the only thing is that the 13B is a gas hog. Rotaries, as a general rule of thumb, aren't daily drivers, but you can pick up a good condition 95/96 for between 12 and 15 thousand. The engine in the RX7 is also iffy, just go around looking at RX7s on the web and a lot of them will have had to swap engines at 70K miles. Just don't tell me you want the car just because it's in the show. Take another look at the many other imports on the market, especially the 300ZX and 3K. I mean 15K$ is a lot of money to drop on an older car with 60-70K miles. Even check out domestics. If you really insist on buying a car just for "drifting" I'm sure a v8 Mustang, Camaro, or Trans am can beat the pants off a RX7.

BTW can someone explain to me why the team with the black R32 Skyline calls themselves the "Night Kids". That is by far the gayest name I have ever heard of. I'm sure that they were called something that sounded much cooler in the original version.

I've just got a thing for RX-7's, but yeah, I knew about the engine and gas guzzling troubles, luckily I live near RX-7 specialty shops that can fix stuff, so if I got one, that'd be one of my first stops. I'd even go for an RX-8.., you read my mind on the 300ZX thing, thats my "backup car" if the whole RX-7 thing dosen't work out. Either that or one of the many 240SX offerings (I'd like to JDM one of the late model ones into an S14 Silvia). V8's are against my religion though ^_^, and um, yep, they're the Miyogi Night Kids, suprisingly thats something Tokyopop didin't manage to screw up, they were always called that. I dunno, it sounds kinda cool to me. Although it does make you think of a bunch of Hot Topic kids driving Skylines and EG6's around..*shrug*

You never really see much of the Miyogi Night Kids second stringers, but I'm pretty sure in the series it was just a couple of 180's, RX-7's, Evos, and etc..I'll make sure next time I watch those episodes to watch for the other cars..every now and then you notice one that suprises you (like the Redsuns' Supra.)

Yeah, the big rumor is that the next season of Initial D will air in Japan sometime this spring, so expect fansubs to pop up sometime afterwards, since the manga dosen't stop where Third Stage the Movie does, and keeps going, it is likely that it'll be about the Project D team of Ryosuke's..(no spoiling it for those who don't know), where the manga kept going.

Guess what. Its back, this April in Japan, Initial D's 4th session will begin to air. It seems they're showing it on a pay-per-view type affair, so it may take a while for the dvd sets and whatnot to arrive (Episodes one and two are in April..while three and four are in May!), but paitence, and we shall see it.

Unfortunately a US V.2 machine. Ugh, Tokyopop names. But at least the game is still good.
