I'll give you the executive overview of the process. I'd link you to blue forum that has a thread entitled 'mk1 mosfet mod for the zzse' that has details, but I have heard that naming that forum is not allowed.
You can use the IRLML6401 and IRLML2502 MOSFETs. These are available for US$0.66 each from
Digikey plus US$5 shipping for orders under about US$25.
Refer to my diagrams below for part names and locations. On the ZZSE PCB, replace the parts labeled QD3 and QD4 with the IRML2502 (N-channel) MOSFETs, replace QD1 and QD2 with IRML6401 (P-channel) MOSFETS.
Optional steps:
-Jumper RDB1, RDB2, RDB3 and RDB4.
-Leave RDB1 unjumpered and connect the gate of QD1 to the gate of QD3.
-Leave RDB2 unjumpered and connect the gate of QD2 to the gate of QD4.

No guarentee that this is what microAmps does, or that it will work for you, but it works fine for many people, myself included.
