mounting lego wheels/tires on jeep
How do you do it? I haven't actually seen the back of the lego wheels so I don't know how they mount, but I didnt' want to buy a $12 pack of legos for 4wheels and then not know what i was doing, thanks for any help!

I did search, I guess i didn't search for the correct thing :shrug: I just typed in Jeep in mods and project and got like 3 replies

If you push the wheels out of the lego tires, you'll see that they are the exact same diameter as the decorative hubcabs that come with the Zips. I just trashed the hubcaps and glued the lego wheels to the black ZZ wheels. Once the glue dried, I stuck the lego tires back on the lego wheels, and viola!
Just don't ask me how to do the body modifications because I never did get the body to fit perfectly with the huge tires. I usually just run it bodyless or with a camaro body I chopped to hell. (I'm not much of a chevy guy  )
[Edit] BTW I added another steering return spring since that initial mod, and it steers like it used to on the stock battery and tires. I got the second spring from a a new ZZ because I cracked the original chassis in 3 different places by ramping it off of desks too many times.
