sb problems
Yesterday I tried puttiing spin brush magnets into my blue RS S2 motor. I followed all instructions and removed the end cap carefully using tiny screwdriver to make sure brushes dont get damaged, I used paperclip method to take out u clip and than magnets and I put in the spin brush magnets and put everything back carefully, but after that for some reason the brass pinion gear was touching the metal can. Well I decided to try it anyways, i noticed its much harder to pin the pinion but i put it back into the car hooked everything up and the car worked. I knew magnets were in properly because car went forward on gas, but it had no torque whats so ever, horrible acceleration and no top speed either. I decided to put old magents back into blue motor and its still bad, did i somehow ruin the blue motor? if yes I wanna try spin brush magnet swap again into my other stage 2 motors.
Maybe you guys know what my mistake was, or the reason why this swap didnt give me anything but ruin performance. All help will be appreciated.
thanks in advance

If it doesn't spin properly and you have the pinion rubbing against the motor can, you obviosly put it back together incorrectly. Hard to tell how without a picture. Why not try taking the endbell back off and trying again on the same motor?

il try to get some pictures ,
i took it apart and put it back together and when i hold my car in air and press throttle it spins but not fast and on floor it doesnt even have torque to make the car move........so im pretty much disappointed because i bought stage 2 engines and crest spinbrush to make a nice engine and its not working...

SupraTuner97,
What two clips are you talking about? I only remember the U-Clip being there. Can you describe what they are and how they look. And for the bushings i did not bent or move them anywhere and i carefully used a small screwdriver to make sure it is properly on the armature when i put the endcap on. I still got other motors from RS S2 package to try the magnet swap on.
Thanks

So,
should i brake in my stage 2 race motor and than try magnet swap again. ? How long does braking in take? How can you tell if spin brush magnets are bad? they seem to affect each other from a pretty big distance.... so i think they are fine, but than i have no clue what i did wrong........
