what kind of motor can i run with 8.4v? the stock motor with bearings and pn brushes died quickly under the big voltage... does alot of sparks at the comm = to bad sign?
Well the factory sold us one of their 7 volt battery packs with our cars but pretty much recommended we not use it. Particularily on carpet they said more than 5 cells will burn the motor out quickly.
So if heat is a problem I guess we should install heat sinks, someone made one from an old pc heat sink.
Maybe we should try some ram air systems to direct a flow of air at the motor? I don't know how well it would really work but I guess it couldn't hurt.
