Okay, now this makes me think...With the Combat Digi-Q, what if 2 people could control 1 tank?! One guy driving, other guy on the Turret!
Perhaps this COULD be done? If 2 controllers had the same ID as 1 tank...1 guy is driving and the other guy is constantly holding down the sequence for turret rotation?

no i'm jsut saying that you willl need 2 controllers witch isnt the big proble the problem is that you might need 2 of the new chips to run them....... but you also might not if you can still run the new tanks on an old controller freq and then use the one mod chip you do have just to run the turret? i dont know i dont have them yet.. the better question is to ask can the new contollable turret tanks run on a controller without the chip and if so them maybe you can have 2 people on a tank

ok before i asked if the turrents onl move 120 degrees.
today i asked a guy in my english 122 (a little background he's form japan) i showed him the digi-q and asked if he has seen them but he didn't. i then showed him the movie and he began to translate it for me he dosent speak english all to well so it was a little hard for me to understand him, but i got the jist of it. in the movie i wish i could get a pic of this part but i can't. (i use alot of 3rd part software alot of that is in fact is manly home based programs so i cant veiw the movie at home and i'm lazy and don't want to fix it) in the part of the movie where there's the 2 numbers 60 and 120, the 120 means the degrees is that the turrets can turn. then the 60 something about the tanks turning it was hard for me to understand him at that part.
he also said that next week he was goning back to japan for 1 week. i want him to pick them up for me but i dont know him that well, but would be sweet.

Okay, I'm very confused now.
I'm about to order some of these new "rotating turret" tanks.
What exactly do I need to buy?

Ok here is what you need for starters:
If you are buying 1 NEW tank, you will need 1 controller. If you are buying two tanks but only you will be using them you can still only have 1 controller. The ROM chip that comes with the tank is interchangeable between the controllers so you only need 1 controller for 4 tanks. But the downside is you wont be able to play with anyone. If you want to you need at least 2 tanks and 2 controllers. Thats all you need to get started. Then once your situated you can invest in a 4 bay charger, Sound system and 4 chips such as I Good Luck

Thanks for your help!
I think though that I still need a little more clarification.
For each Combat Digi-Q w/ Rotating Turret, I need to buy one "rotating turret" tank and one controller.
Are the controllers the same controllers that came with the older tanks WITHOUT the rotating turrets? How do you make the turrets rotate?
Are the ROM's I hear mentioned easy to install? And do they come with the "rotating turret" tanks or do I have to buy them separately also?
The more I think about it, I think I become even more confused!
