I actually put the coke bottle plastic between the suspension arms and the upper deck. I just drove out in the rain and there's nothing that got near the driveshaft!
I think it would work for AWD, I don't have the kit yet.
Does anyone have an AWD kit that they can sell?

I think I've done it
To raise the ride height, one can do no less than change the chassis. Here is my idea:
The same can be done to the back, but, it can only be done by remaking the rear end.actually Its a little different, Ill draw that one later. NB, the ride height cannot exceed 4mm raise.
Now if anyone of you chassis makers can run a field test on my idea....................

too much timming? i just did some and they work pretty good. they're just big rectangles.
For the ride height: if you made that bottom piece flexable so it moved with the knuckle that would be even better. i think. or you could stack your tires or find some slightly larger to accomadate the longger screw.

sorry for resurrecting a dead tread, but i saw this and had an idea, so instead of starting a new one...
i have seen some real raised cars, and as i've noticed, they have part of the drivetrain under the car. so i thought, if you mount the entire suspension/drivetrain assembly on the bottom of the car, then use the pully mod to get power down to the bottom, that would give about 1" extra height for the chassis, but not the diff, arms, etc. but the extra clearance would let you put monster wheels on, so that's another .5".
i don't have my car w/ me (im typing this in school) so i don't know how to work it all, but it could...
