Recharges in controller? Why not?

For some reason, I cant use my rechargeable batteries in my digi Q controller. I noticed that they are only 1.25 volts, and normal ones are 1.5 volts. Does anyone know where they sell ones that would work?

Yes marc you are correct. Batteries have a lifetime and a memory. How you have treated your recharchables can also effect how well they perform. It might say they are 1.25 but if they have been charged when already partially charged or what not they could have been damaged. Try picking up a new set or just buy the 4 bay charger like i did and use a 6 volt power supply to power it. Works alot better in my opinion than the controllers.

i got mine from radioshak or u can find one laying around from old electronics that ya dont use aneymore. the transformer can b anywhere from 6.5-6.0 volt and 400-500 mAh and +inside -outside .
ive been abel 2 get my rechargeables up 2 1.49 and it will stay that way for a hole day till it drops down 2 1.45 the next day. not 2 bad 4 a AA.its just a matter of dischargeing and chargeing them in a cycle. keep in mind ive been cycleing them 4 allmoust a year
