X-tra parts soon to be carried by RS.

Well, since a resistor broke off the X-Mod killa, I went to RS today to get the part for it. The clerk told me that many Zip Zap replacement parts are gonna be sold like how they sell replacement parts for X-Mods. I guess I'll have to wait till March to get the killa running again.

Boards, knuckles, chassises. I'm guessing that they'll sell SE springs as well. They're gonna be selling them starting in march, according to the clerk.

The clerk's exact words were: "we will have replacement parts for ZZs just like X-Mods." I hope she was right.

Paramus, NJ. And right now, it's missing a resistor off of the board. Also, I plan on installing Kit gears real soon, and with the layman's cells, Phast motor, and what I listed above, it will murder a stock X-Mod, and give a highly modded one a run for its money. I just need a resistor and gears...

Edit: I fogot to mention, it's got STACKED FETs, and runs at 6 2/3 mph with a 4.2. It should do 15 mph with the gear change. Yes, I am nuts. Oh, I've also convinced a friend to race me with his 6 cell X-Mod when I'm done.

Grm...How do you expect to turn with that... knowing zz have a high flipping problem with just a motor upgrade... And doesn't an xmod with rechargable batteries and the fastest stage 2 motor go faster then 15 mph...

1st, it's a drag race.
2nd, I don't know where you got this from, but my ZZ only flips about once or twice a charge, even when I'm taking a lot of sharp turns.
3rd, I was intending on beating a stock X, but found out they were too easy. The 3.43:1 gears get this thing to ~20 mph with dual cells. I should be even faster if I had tricells (they're laymans cells).
4th, no recharable batts in this car, though I think it would still be owned.
5th, my ZZ is still pretty fast if it loses by an x-mod length or less. It still shows that a ZZ can be just as fast as an X-Mod if it's tweaked. Right now, it's waiting for a resistor, but it will soon be alive again.

Can you make a movie of this zip zap with a speed checker sometime? And if you did stuff to an xmod like a 6th cell and fet upgrade and an nml motor it would pwn your zz ^_^

No vids, and for the last time, it isn't running right now. The capacitor broke off. BTW, I just wired up an Xmod for 15 volts. It still runs, and almost fits under the stock body. Beat that.

You can't run an xmod with 15 volts, people can barely get away with more then 8 volts, let alone 7 more. And how would you fit that many cells under a stock body when its pretty hard to even fit 2 more...almost fit my bum let alone 15 volts worth of batteries would add so much weight...

1. I've seen the 15volt car run.
2. I have pictures(I will post promptly)
3. Yes you can fit it under the acur body with dremel.
4. It too has been decimated by its crazy owner and is now "out of order"

Do you know how much cells(AAA batteries) it would take to make it 15 volts? And how did the car die?
